Case study
Architect Adib Dada of regenerative architecture practice theOtherDada reached out to us during the design of the Tarabot Pavilion at Jameel Arts Centre, seeking a material that could embody the project’s commitment to regeneration, locality, and environmental responsibility.
Conceived as a living forum that explores relationships between human and ecological systems, Tarabot responds to the urgent climate realities of the region. Our material Dateform, developed from repurposed date seeds, was integrated into the pavilion as a durable, tactile surface grounded in local material narratives.
Within the pavilion, Dateform contributes to an architectural language that values circularity and place-based innovation, demonstrating how waste derived materials can meaningfully shape contemporary public spaces while supporting regenerative design thinking.
